These before and after images were documented during a clinical trial performed by Allergan (manufacturers of Latisse®). After 12 to 16 weeks of a topical application of bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03% on a daily basis, patients were observed to have an increase in not only the number, but also the caliber of their eyelashes.

While patients using Latisse®) do frequently notice a marked improvement in the appearance of their eyelashes within only a few weeks, there are side effects to this medication. Patients are encouraged to first consult with a physician prior to initiating medical therapy both to understand the possible adverse effects as well as to learn the proper application technique.
