This 52-yr-old woman underwent a session to treat her gradually thinning recessions. A total of 1573 micrografts were distributed throughout both frontal-temporal recessions as well as throughout a narrow hairline zone in order to achieve a natural-appearing result.
Also contributing to the natural appearance were her hair characteristics. Her medium-to-fine caliber light colored hair enabled a result that could never be detected throughout her frontal-temporal and temple region. In women, the temple or hairline is often a location in which more hair is desired to either cover a scar or advance a temple hairline after a facelift or brow lift, respectively.
