The Little Baby Face Foundation recently reached out to the office of Dr. Carlos Wesley for assistance. A 16-year-old boy had marked cranial scarring that he suffered from corrective surgeries as an infant.

As a proud physician/surgeon member of The Little Babyface Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to performing reconstructive surgery for children with facial birth deformities, Dr. Wesley and his senior surgical staff performed a pro bono surgical scar correction using Follicular Unit Transplantation.

Grafts were used to fill in the scar. The boy’s hair follicles were incubated in platelet rich plasma (PRP) throughout the duration of the procedure.

The Little Babyface Foundation helps cover transportation and housing costs for families in need. Participating physicians/surgeons donate their time and surgical facilities to perform pro bono cases to children in need.
